Melanie Ashely has followed the traditional Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series for over 15 years and teaching for 10 years, yet is constantly amazed at the depth, strength and rejuvenation effects it can bring practitioners.
She promotes the practice as a self-healing and developmental art by merging it with pranayama, affirmation and mantra to open gateways of consciousness for personal transformation. This focus is core to her RYT200 Teacher Training Programme, senior executive training and retreats. They also form the foundation of Clarity Yoga Shala in St Albans.
Her contribution to the festival is to deliver a practice for practitioners to connect with their golden sprit, believe in their gift and illuminate it in this world.
